I am, graduation project - video installation
My graduation project is about identities and personalities; what happens when everybody and everything you know suddenly disappears and changes?
It’s about family ties. What changes when you find out that you have different blood running through your veins then the rest of your family?
About convertibility, individuality and unconditional love.
I have produced a video installation for a one-person's audience. The installation is a 2 x 2 x 2 meter cubical with canvas sides.
This cube hangs approx. 1 meter above the ground. At the start the cube is hoisted over the spectator after he or she has been seated on a swivel chair, which stands in the heart of the cube. So the spectator cannot leave during the show, which is projected by 4 beamers and a surround sound system.
The installation consists of 4 different movies builded up out of various fragments.
